Oxide Supported Metal Nano-Islands for Selective Dehydrogenation

Oxide-supported metal nanoparticle catalysts are commonly used as efficient and selective industrial catalysts for acid-base, selective-, and total-oxidation reactions. Using UHV surface science techniques, we are interested in studying the complex catalyst structural features, active surface sites, and intermolecular interactions driving selective dehydrogenation pathways on oxide-supported metal nanoparticle catalysts.
